Dear [add manager’s name]: I would like to attend the Alberta PowerSchool User Group conference being held October 28-30, 2019 or October 30-November 1, 2019 in Lake Louise. This conference is specifically for Administrative Assistants and Office Support staff using PowerSchool. It is a great opportunity to meet other PowerSchool users from across the province and beyond. By attending, I will have the opportunity for classroom training for a range of skill levels and experience, learn best practices, network with fellow PS users and experts, and take part in optional wellness opportunities in a retreat-like setting. This conference will deliver a great return on investment. The conference fee is $500.00 for registration, which includes all meals, 6 classroom sessions, and all course materials for the conference. Accommodation and transportation are additional costs and Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is offering a conference room rate of $185.00 (plus taxes and resort fees) per night. I have the opportunity to select which courses I would like to take from different skill and grade levels as well as various subjects. Below is a list of classes I would like to registered for and how they will help us use PowerSchool to its fullest potential:
I will receive a copy of materials for all courses offered, and return with tips and recommendations on how we may better utilize PowerSchool. In addition, the opportunities for one-on-one conversations with PowerSchool experts to answer any questions and to develop contacts with other Alberta PowerSchool users will be valuable throughout the school year. I will submit a report post-conference that will include a summary, major takeaways, tips, and recommendations on how we can better utilize PowerSchool. Thank you for considering this request. If I receive approval now, I can secure a seat in Lake Louise when registration opens on April 1, 2019 (The conference‘s seats filled up very quickly last time). I look forward to your reply. Regards, |
